g. Ensure that concrete/gunite supply trucks or concrete/plaster operations do <br />not discharge wash water into street, gutters, or storm drains. <br />Urban Stormwater Operation Requirements <br />72. All projects, unless otherwise determined by the City Engineer or Chief Building <br />Official, shall enter into a recorded Stormwater Treatment Measures Inspection <br />and Maintenance Agreement for ongoing maintenance and reporting of required <br />stormwater measures. These measures may include, but are not limited to: <br />a. On-site storm drain inlets clearly marked and maintained with the words "No <br />Dumping -Drains to Bay'; <br />b. Proper maintenance of landscaping, with minimal pesticide and fertilizer use. <br />c. Clean all on-site storm drains at least twice a year with one cleaning <br />immediately prior to the rainy season. The City may require additional <br />cleanings; <br />d. Regularly but not less than once a month, sweep driveways, sidewalks and <br />paved areas to minimize the accumulation of litter and debris. Corners and <br />hard to reach areas shall be swept manually. Debris from pressure washing <br />shall be trapped and collected to prevent entry into the storm drain system. <br />Wastewater containing any soap, cleaning agent or degreaser shall not be <br />discharged into the storm drain; and <br />e. Vegetated swales with grasses shall be mowed and clippings removed on a <br />regular basis. <br />TRAFFIC DIVISION <br />73. The paving sections for the on-site parking and drive areas shall be designed on <br />the basis of an R-Value test and a traffic index to carry the anticipated traffic <br />loads. This design shall be subject to the approval by the Building and Safety <br />Division. The minimum paving section shall be two inches of asphalt concrete <br />(A.C.) on a six-inch asphalt base (A.B.). The minimum A.C. pavement slope <br />shall be one percent. For pavement slopes less than one percent, the surface <br />runoff shall be carried in a concrete gutter to an acceptable point of discharge. <br />The minimum slope for concrete gutter shall be 0.5-percent. <br />74. The applicant shall pay traffic impact fees as determined by the City Traffic <br />Engineer for the intersections with LOS E and F. Any design or improvement <br />plans for intersections shall be submitted to the Department of Public Works for <br />review and approval prior to building permit issuance. The property and/or <br />developer shall also make improvements to the left turn lane located at Valley/ <br />Boulder. The City Engineer and City Traffic Engineer may waive the <br />requirements for those improvements and require an additional fair share cost <br />13 <br />
