SECTION 6. The City of Pleasanton shall establish crossing zones, speed limits, yield intersections, and stop intersections in Ruby Hill, and other rules and regulations in accordance with the California Vehicle Code. SECTION 7. The Ruby Hill Homeowners' Association shall purchase, install, maintain, and replace, at its own expense, the signs, markings, and devices in accordance with the California Vehicle Code. The Ruby Hill Homeowners' Association shall also pay for any related traffic studies required by the Director of Public Works. SECTION 8. After the Ruby Hill Homeowners' Association installs the signage, markings, and devices required by California Vehicle Code section 21107.7 and removes all signage, markings, and devices not in compliance with section 21107.7, and the Director of Public Works approves the installation and removal, the Pleasanton Police Department is authorized to enforce the California Vehicle Code on the roads within Ruby Hill. SECTION 9. Changes to traffic rules, regulations, and traffic signs, markings, and devices on the roads shall be at the discretion of the Director of Public Works. The Ruby Hill Homeowners' Association shall pay for all changes to traffic signs, markings, and devices on the roads, and all related traffic studies. SECTION 10. The enforcement of the California Vehicle Code shall be periodic and at the discretion of the Police Chief, and the City shall not provide additional staff or other city resources to enforce the California Vehicle Code within Ruby Hill. SECTION 11. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
