G". <br />THE CITY OF <br />-~ ~ CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />pL~E~S~NTONa <br />November 6, 2007 <br />Planning and Community Development <br />TITLE: PDAM-1, APPLICATION FOR A MODIFICATION TO THE DEVELOPMENT <br />AGREEMENTS FOR HACIENDA BUSINESS PARK TO EXTEND THE <br />AGREEMENT FOR AFIVE-YEAR PERIOD FROM 2008 TO 2013 FOR NINE <br />PROPERTIES WITHIN PHASE I AND PHASE II OF THE PARK. <br />PROPERTY OWNERS: BRE Properties, Inc., WP Carey, Shaklee, Roche Molecular, <br />Pleasanton Paper LP, Oracle, SafeAmerica Credit Union, <br />Walmart, and 1st United Services Credit Union. <br />GENERAL PLAN: Business Park (Industrial/Commercial and Office) <br />ZONING: PUD-I/C-O <br />SUMMARY <br />The applicant requests that the Phase I and Phase II Development Agreements for the <br />Hacienda Business Park be extended from December 31, 2008 to December 31, 2013. <br />No other amendments to the previously approved and amended Development <br />Agreements are requested. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION <br />The Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of the proposed <br />amendment to the Development Agreements as shown on Attachment 1. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the City Council adopt a resolution approving the third <br />amendment to the Phase I and II Development Agreements between the City of <br />Pleasanton and Prudential Insurance Company of America. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />There is no financial impact to the City. Fees collected from the planning and building <br />permit processes pay the current fees in place at the time the permits are issued. The <br />applicant is requesting only to extend the Development Agreements. <br />
