City of Pleasanton <br />City Grant <br />Fisca/ Year 2008/09 <br />Application Timeline <br />Application Packets available to the public <br />Beginning Thursday, December 6, 2007. <br />• Pick-up packets at the Department of Parks and Community Services <br />Main Office, located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, or request <br />packets to be mailed by calling (925) 931-5346. <br />• Packets available through the City website: www.ci.pleasanton.ca.us. <br />Application Deadline <br />Wednesday, March 5, 2008 <br />Completed applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. <br />No postmarks/fax/emails. <br />Mandatory Presentation <br />April 7, 2008 (7:00 p.m.) Civic Arts Commission (City Council Chambers) <br />April 2, 2008 (6:30 p.m.) Human Services Commission (City Council Chambers) <br />April 9, 2008 (7:00 p.m.) Youth Commission (Senior Center) <br />Mandatory Applicant Presentation during Public Hearing <br />before the appropriate Commission. <br />Each applicant will be limited to a S-minute presentation. <br />See "Evaluation "page for content requirements. <br />Council Approval <br />June After Council approval (considered as part of annual City Budget <br />Process), funded agencies will receive a notification letter after July 1, <br />2008. <br />Mandatory Recipient Meeting <br />Wednesday, July 9, 2008 <br />Pleasanton Council Chambers <br />9:00-10:30 a.m. <br />All funded agencies required to attend meeting to receive Agreement(s) <br />and Compliance/invoice documentation instructions. <br />Funds Available Funds are available beginning July 1, 2008. <br />V <br />
