Presentation of commendations to individuals that assisted law enforcement in carjacking <br />case <br />Councilmember Cook-Kallio, on behalf of the Council, presented commendations and thanked <br />AI Borrel, Gary Tomcyk, James Rosewater, Brian Lancaster and Tom Beatty for their active <br />bravery during the carjacking of a female juvenile and by assisting police in the capture of the <br />suspect. <br />10. Public Comment <br />Fred Norman noted that 21 American troops have lost their lives in Iraq since the last Council <br />meeting and said he is not alone in trying to end the war and felt if there were more who felt this <br />way we might succeed. <br />Allen Roberts commented on the City's Website with regard to staff reports retrieval. <br />City Council Minutes 2 October 2, 2007 <br />
