Presentation of commendations to individuals that assisted law enforcement in carjacking case Councilmember Cook-Kallio, on behalf of the Council, presented commendations and thanked AI Borrel, Gary Tomcyk, James Rosewater, Brian Lancaster and Tom Beatty for their active bravery during the carjacking of a female juvenile and by assisting police in the capture of the suspect. 10. Public Comment Fred Norman noted that 21 American troops have lost their lives in Iraq since the last Council meeting and said he is not alone in trying to end the war and felt if there were more who felt this way we might succeed.
