<br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br /> <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />Wednesday, September 26, 2007 <br /> <br />(Staff has reviewed the proposed changes against the recorded proceedings <br />and confirms that these Minutes are accurate.) <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The Planning Commission meeting of September 26, 2007, was called to order at <br />7:01 p.m. by Chairperson Fox. <br /> <br /> <br />1.ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: Donna Decker, Principal Planner; Julie Harryman, <br /> <br />AssistantCity Attorney; Phil Grubstick, City Engineer; <br />Jenny Soo, Associate Planner; and Cory Emberson, <br />Recording Secretary. <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: Commissioners Phil Blank, Anne Fox, Greg O’Connor, <br />Arne Olson, and Jennifer Pearce. <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: Commissioner Kathy Narum. <br /> <br />Chairperson Fox expressed the Planning Commission’s appreciation for Phil Grubstick, <br />who would be retiring from City service. She made note of his long-time attendance at <br />Planning Commission meetings, many until a late hour. <br /> <br />Ms. Decker added the City’s appreciation of Mr. Grubstick’s service over the past eight <br />years in the capacity of City Engineer and added that he had done a wonderful job in <br />finding new solutions to difficult planning and engineering problems. <br /> <br />Mr. Grubstick thanked the Commission and stated that it had been his pleasure to support <br />the Planning Department and Planning Commission for the past eight years. He thanked <br />Wes Jost, Development Services Manager, for sharing this task in attending the Planning <br />Commission meetings and noted that Mr. Jost would continue to provide the support <br />needed by the Planning Commission. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES September 26, 2007 Page 1 of 20 <br /> <br /> <br />
