<br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br /> <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />Wednesday, August 8, 2007 <br /> <br />(Staff has reviewed the proposed changes against the recorded proceedings <br />and confirms that these Minutes are accurate.) <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The Planning Commission meeting of August 8, 2007, was called to order at 7:02 p.m. by <br />Chairperson Fox. <br /> <br /> <br />1.ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: Donna Decker, Principal Planner; Larissa Seto, Assistant <br />City Attorney; and Cory Emberson, Recording Secretary. <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: Commissioners Phil Blank, Anne Fox, Kathy Narum, Greg <br />O’Connor, Arne Olson, and Jennifer Pearce. <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: None. <br /> <br />Chairperson Fox reminded the public of the Community of Character statement that was <br />adopted by the City and the Pleasanton Unified School District. <br /> <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br /> <br />a. July 25, 2007 <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Connor noted that with reference to the last sentence of the sixth full <br />paragraph on page 8 states which reads: “He noted that Spring Street has a mixed-use <br />development but is not a designated Mixed Use area,” he was referring to an earlier <br />workshop on mixed-used development. <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Connor noted that the text on paragraph 8 on page 22 which reads: <br />“Add the following Policy: “The calculation of residential units for gross developable <br />acres shall not include slopes greater than 25 percent.” was not included in the updated <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES August 8, 2007 Page 1 of 24 <br /> <br /> <br />
