Commissioner Blank advised that according to Ms. Harryman’s reading of the Commissioner’s Handbook, the Chairperson may solicit a motion and may only make a motion if no other Commissioner made that motion. Commissioner Narum noted that because she initiated the condition of approval for the pavers contrary to previous Council action, she believed it would be appropriate to revisit that issue She noted that she had not intended that nor understood that there was a specific design or pattern that had been approved. Commissioner Narum moved to reconsider Planning Commission Resolution No. PC-2007-26 approving PDR-602, the application of Michael O’Callaghan for design review approval to demolish the existing building at 725 Main Street and construct a two-story commercial building in its place. Chairperson Fox seconded the motion. Commissioners Pearce and Blank stated that they could not support the motion. ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES: Commissioners Fox, Narum. Application for Tentative Tract Map approval for a 15-lot subdivision consisting of 13 units, one existing unit, and one open space remainder at the properties located at 2756, 2770, and 2798 Vineyard Avenue, in the Vineyard Avenue Specific Plan Area. Zoning for the property is PUD-LDR (Planned Unit Development – Low Density Residential) District. Commissioner Blank complimented staff on the quality of this package. Commissioner Blank moved to make the findings that the proposed Vesting Tentative Subdivision Map is covered by the Vineyard Avenue Corridor Specific Plan EIR and is consistent with the Pleasanton General Plan, to make the subdivision map findings as stated in the staff report, and to approve Vesting PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES June 13, 2007 Page 5 of 29
