o The work will conform to the standards of Caltrans <br /> and the Cities of Pleasanton and Dublin in effect <br /> on the date of final submittal to Caltrans. Upon <br /> receipt of Caltrans design directives the CONSULT- <br /> ANT shall determine within ten (10) working days <br /> the effect that such changes will have on com- <br /> pleted and remaining work contained in this AMEND- <br /> ENT and notify the CITY. If the CONSULTANT fails <br /> to notify the CITY within said period, any changes <br /> in engineering cost associated with such directives <br /> shall be borne by the CONSULTANT.
