The work described in this AMENDMENT will include <br />development of the geometric concepts for the interchange' <br />improvements and submittal of the geometric approval plans <br />to Caltrans for review and approval. The work will include <br />preparation of the following reports to support the <br />geometric approval plans: <br /> <br /> o Traffic Operations Report <br /> <br /> o Hydraulics Report <br /> <br /> o Materials Report <br /> <br /> o Structure Type Selection Report <br /> <br />The geometric approval drawings will reflect the ultimate <br />interchange geometric for both the Santa Rita Road and <br />Hacienda Drive interchanges. The drawings will also reflect <br />the proposed first stage of construction that will include <br />only improvements to be funded through the NPID No. 3. <br /> <br />The work described in the AMENDMENT is based on the following <br />premise: <br /> <br /> o The project design and the resulting products will <br /> be subject to review by the City of Pleasanton, <br /> City of Dublin, Caltrans, and FHWA, all of whom <br /> must approve the project plans. <br /> <br /> o The CONSULTANT will be responsible for obtaining <br /> permits to construct the project and perform nec- <br /> essary work in execution of this AMENDMENT. The <br /> CITY will provide timely assistance if requested <br /> by the CONSULTANT and pay all fees to acquire the <br /> permits. <br /> <br /> o The CONSULTANT will closely coordinate work with <br /> the CITY'S engineering staff or its designated <br /> representative. <br /> <br /> <br />
