~ ~ <br />20. Caltrans will give authorization and advise on the circulation of <br />the DED and on the invitation list for public hearings. The City <br />will circulate the DED after authorization. <br />21. The City will be responsible for all necessary meeting and hear- <br />ing arrangements, including publishing of Public Notices. <br />Caltrans will approve all public hearing arrangements. Public <br />hearings shall be conducted by Caltrans with the assistance of <br />the City. <br />22. The City will prepare responses to be made by Caltrans to cor- <br />respondence and comments received from circulation of the DED and <br />from the public hearings. <br />23. The City will prepare The Record of Public Hearing. The Record <br />of Public Hearing along with the distribution, shall be approved <br />by Caltrans. <br />24. The City shall prepare and submit the Project Approval Report/FED <br />to Caltrans. <br />25. The Project Approval Report/FED will require Caltrans' approval. <br />Caltrans will request approval of the Project Approval Report/FED <br />from the FHWA. Caltrans will also request approval of any new <br />freeway connections from the CTC and the FHWA. <br />-7- <br />
