shall include all of the necessary equipment including radios, rescue equipment, <br />hose, ladders, etc. The Fire Department will provide details and specifications <br />for this truck necessary for the truck to be capable of providing structure <br />protection in the event of a wildland fire and/or exposure protection in the event <br />of a building fire. The project developer will be eligible for reimbursement from <br />other developments determined by the Fire Chief to benefit from this equipment. <br />(Mitigation Measure M-2-3 of the FEIR.) <br />6:63. Except for the private driveway aprons, all public and private roads/driveways <br />shall be designed to carry a minimum H-20 road load rating under all weather <br />conditions. <br />6z?64. All public and private roads/driveways shall be designed with grades generally <br />conforming to the 2001 California Fire Code maximum of 12 percent. The Fire <br />Marshall may accept road grades greater than 12 percent including the public <br />safety access easement from Grey Eagle Court to the northern boundary of the <br />Project site. <br />665. All public/private streets and driveways designated as fire lanes by the Fire Chief <br />shall be maintained in accordance with Articles 9 and 10 of the Uniform Fire <br />Code, which permits the towing of vehicles illegally parked on the fire lanes. Fire <br />lane curbs shall be painted red with "No Parking, Fire Lane, Tow Away Zone" or <br />"No Parking, Fire Lane, Tow Away Zone" signs shall be installed as required by <br />the Vehicle Code. <br />Geotechnical Requirements and Mitigations <br />6466. To mitigate the potential effects of seismically induced ground shaking at the <br />project site, the design and construction of all structures on the lots covered by <br />this approval shall conform to the current standards defined in the most recently <br />adopted California Building Code and shall implement the recommendations of <br />the preliminary geotechnical investigation report and the design-level <br />geotechnical report to be submitted with the improvement plans. This statement <br />shall appear in the residential design guidelines. (Mitigation Measure F-1 of the <br />FEIR.) <br />667. The project developer shall undertake a detailed, design-level geotechnical <br />investigation and, based upon this investigation, shall submit adesign-level <br />report with the improvement plans and the first final subdivision map that <br />incorporates and further develops the conclusions and recommendations of the <br />existing Planning/Development Level Geotechnical Report, "Planning/ <br />Development-Level Geologic and Geotechnical Investigation, Kottinger Hills, <br />Pleasanton, California", prepared for Ms. Jennifer Lin by Berlogar Geotechnical <br />Consultants, dated November 14, 2003, and shall include the comments and <br />recommendations provided by the City's peer review geologist/geotechnical <br />City Council October 2, 2007 Page 28 of 41 <br />
