CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-506 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISION OF COUNTY SOLID WASTE <br /> MANAGEMENT PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 15, 1987, Council approved <br /> the Alameda County Solid Waste Management Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, following the City Council approval, the City of Hayward <br /> proposed changes to the plan which were adopted by the <br /> Solid Waste Management Authority; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed revision clarifies the Authority's policy <br /> to maintain at least 50 years of landfill capacity for <br /> Alameda County waste; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the languages changes to the Alameda County <br /> Solid Waste Management Plan as proposed by the City of <br /> Hayward, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED NOVEMBER 17, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None ~~~ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> K~NM~TH R.
