This amount would be <br /> for the period of January through June 1988. At that time it was <br /> agreed that we should return to you in the fall with an action <br /> plan budget and delineation of authority/administration issues. <br /> This letter will outline these items and request final City <br /> Council approval of the funding of a Convention and Visitors <br /> Bureau in Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> ACTION PLAN <br /> <br /> 1. Approval of Action Plan and Budget by City Council- <br /> 11/17/87. <br /> <br /> 2. Enter into an agreement between the City of Pleasanton and <br /> Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce for disbursement of funds and <br /> related issues - 12/15/87. <br /> <br /> 3. Post, interview and hire Executive Manager of Convention and <br /> Visitors Bureau - 11/17/87 through 1/15/88. <br /> <br /> Proposed selection committee comprised of 7 individuals, <br /> representing City of Pleasanton, Chamber of Commerce Board <br /> of Directors, its CVB Task Force, Fair Grounds and <br /> consulting CVB executive. <br /> <br /> <br />
