Green Building 25. The subject home shall achieve a "Green Home" rating as specified in Alameda County waster Management Authority's "Single-Family Green Building Rating System," current edition as the time of building permit submittal. A list of the green measures shall be submitted in conjunction with the plans submitted for issuance of building permits and shall be subject to the review and approval by the Planning Director prior to issuance of building permit for the project. 26. The proposed green building checklist shall be shown on one of the first two pages of the plans submitted for the issuance of a building permit. The sheet number(s) where each checklist item is addressed in the plan set shall be noted on the checklist. All proposed green-building measures shall be shown throughout the plan set, as appropriate, as determined by the planning and the Chief Building Official. 27. The Building and Safety Division may require special inspections for the green building measures proposed. If required, the applicant shall provide verification to the Planning Department clearly stating that the Building and Safety Division has approved all applicable special inspections relating to green building measures. Said verification shall be provided prior to occupancy of the building. 28. Prior to submittal to the Building and Safety Division, the applicant must provide a copy of the contractor's agreement that stipulates that the contractor will use only Low-VOC interior paints and low-VOC water-based finishes in construction of this residence. 29. Prior to building final inspection, the contractor shall provide diversion tickets to the Planning Department for review and approval by the Green Building Coordinator. Building and Site Design Requirements: 30. The applicant shall provide automatic opening sectional roll-up garage doors on the garages of the single-family house covered by this approval to the satisfaction of the Planning Director. 31. The building developer shall comply with the design guidelines and shall post address numerals on the building so as to be plainly visible from all adjoining streets or driveways during both daylight and night time hours, according to the requirements of the Fire Department and Building and Safety Division. 32. The approved building materials and colors shall be stated on the building permit plans submitted for issuance of building permits. 4
