Green Building <br />25. The subject home shall achieve a "Green Home" rating as specified in Alameda County <br />waster Management Authority's "Single-Family Green Building Rating System," current <br />edition as the time of building permit submittal. A list of the green measures shall be <br />submitted in conjunction with the plans submitted for issuance of building permits and <br />shall be subject to the review and approval by the Planning Director prior to issuance of <br />building permit for the project. <br />26. The proposed green building checklist shall be shown on one of the first two pages of the <br />plans submitted for the issuance of a building permit. The sheet number(s) where each <br />checklist item is addressed in the plan set shall be noted on the checklist. All proposed <br />green-building measures shall be shown throughout the plan set, as appropriate, as <br />determined by the planning and the Chief Building Official. <br />27. The Building and Safety Division may require special inspections for the green building <br />measures proposed. If required, the applicant shall provide verification to the Planning <br />Department clearly stating that the Building and Safety Division has approved all <br />applicable special inspections relating to green building measures. Said verification shall <br />be provided prior to occupancy of the building. <br />28. Prior to submittal to the Building and Safety Division, the applicant must provide a copy <br />of the contractor's agreement that stipulates that the contractor will use only Low-VOC <br />interior paints and low-VOC water-based finishes in construction of this residence. <br />29. Prior to building final inspection, the contractor shall provide diversion tickets to the <br />Planning Department for review and approval by the Green Building Coordinator. <br />Building and Site Design Requirements: <br />30. The applicant shall provide automatic opening sectional roll-up garage doors on the <br />garages of the single-family house covered by this approval to the satisfaction of the <br />Planning Director. <br />31. The building developer shall comply with the design guidelines and shall post address <br />numerals on the building so as to be plainly visible from all adjoining streets or <br />driveways during both daylight and night time hours, according to the requirements of the <br />Fire Department and Building and Safety Division. <br />32. The approved building materials and colors shall be stated on the building permit plans <br />submitted for issuance of building permits. <br />4 <br />
