Building <br />21. All building and/or structural plans must comply with all codes and ordinances in effect <br />before the Building and Safety Division will issue permits. <br />22. The project developer shall sweep or vacuum the existing roads and sidewalks that are <br />used during construction, a minimum of once a month and shall prevent the <br />accumulation of litter and debris on the site. Corners and hazd to reach areas shall be <br />swept manually. If areas are pressure washed, debris must be trapped and collected to <br />prevent entry into the storm drain system. No cleaning agent may be discharged into <br />the storm drain. If any cleaning agent or degreaser is uses, wash water must be <br />collected and discharged to the sanitary sewer, subject to approval of the Dublin-San <br />Ramon Services District (DSRSD). <br />Engineering <br />23. The project developer shall submit two copies of the site soils report to the Chief <br />Building Official for third-party peer review and shall pay for such review at the time <br />plans are submitted for building permit, unless determined otherwise by the City <br />Engineer. <br />24. Backflow-prevention devices, above-ground irrigation controls, and above-ground <br />irrigation meters shall be located and screened so as to minimize visual impacts. To <br />help minimize visual impacts, when feasible they shall be installed near the side <br />property line with the most potential for landscape screening. All backflow-prevention <br />devices, above-ground irrigation controls, and above-ground irrigation meters shall be <br />substantially screened with landscaping, exceptions can be made for sites with no <br />landscaping near the front property line. Backflow-prevention devices, above-ground <br />irrigation controls, above-ground irrigation meters, and all proposed landscape <br />screening shall be shown on the landscaping and the utility plans submitted for the <br />issuance of building permits and shall clearly be marked "above-ground" on the plans. <br />The location of all backflow-prevention devices, above-ground irrigation controls, and <br />above-ground irrigation meters and the quantity and type of proposed landscape <br />screening shall be subject to the review and approval of the Planning Director prior to <br />installation. All backflow-prevention devices, above-ground irrigation controls, and <br />above-ground irrigation meters shall be painted shall be forest green (Pantone Color <br />System Number 357), or an equivalent calor by a different manufacturer, unless <br />covered by a box or a bag in which case the box or bag shall be forest green (Pantone <br />Color System Number 357) or an equivalent color by a different manufacturer. Unless <br />waived by the Director of Public Works, prior to installation, the applicant shall submit <br />information to the Public Works Department that demonstrates that a proposed <br />backflow-prevention device adheres to the Alameda County Public Health Department <br />standards. <br />
