The proposed after-school tutorial center offers intensive academic learning and SAT preparation sessions that would require concentration from the students. Thus, the proposed tutorial center would not be disruptive to other businesses/tenants in the same building or on the same site. Therefore, this finding can be made. The proposed conditional use will comply with each of the applicable provisions of the Zoning Ordinance. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed conditional use would be compatible with the existing uses in the area. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Approves Case PCUP-170, the application of Julie Aquino/Tutoring Club of Pleasanton for a conditional use permit to allow a tutoring center within a portion of the existing building located at 260 Main Street, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit B, attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days afer its passage and adoption unless appealed prior to that time.
