PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2006-36 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF <br />NORMAN CORNETT/PEAK PROPERTY MAIN STREET, LLC, FOR DESIGN REVIEW <br />APPROVAL AND A VARIANCE FROM THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE, <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PDR-458/PV-152 <br />WHEREAS Norman Comett/Peak Property Main Street, LLC, has applied for: (1) design <br />review approval to construct an approximately 3,896-square-foot, two-story <br />addition to the Kolln Hardware building located at 600 Main Street and to <br />relocate and restore the two easterly one-story structures; and (2) a variance from <br />the Pleasanton Municipal Code to reduce the number of required parking spaces <br />for this project by four spaces; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission received and reviewed the Initial Study, dated June 19, <br />2006, and received the recommendation of staff; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 12, 2006, the Planning Commission received a proposed <br />Negative Declaration for Case PDR-458/PV-152; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of <br />the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with <br />the applicable State and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not <br />have any significant adverse effects on the site's wildlife. <br />
