PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-2006-36 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF NORMAN CORNETT/PEAK PROPERTY MAIN STREET, LLC, FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL AND A VARIANCE FROM THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE, AS FILED UNDER CASE PDR-458/PV-152 WHEREAS Norman Comett/Peak Property Main Street, LLC, has applied for: (1) design review approval to construct an approximately 3,896-square-foot, two-story addition to the Kolln Hardware building located at 600 Main Street and to relocate and restore the two easterly one-story structures; and (2) a variance from the Pleasanton Municipal Code to reduce the number of required parking spaces for this project by four spaces; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission received and reviewed the Initial Study, dated June 19, 2006, and received the recommendation of staff; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 12, 2006, the Planning Commission received a proposed Negative Declaration for Case PDR-458/PV-152; and WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable State and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not have any significant adverse effects on the site's wildlife.
