72. Unless otherwise approved by the City Engineer, roof leaders shall not be connected <br />directly to the street gutter or storm drain system. The applicant's soil's engineer may <br />submit recommendations to the City Engineer for consideration on the matter. <br />73. The developer shall install subdrains at the perimeter of all building foundations, and at <br />the back of curb of the street. Said drain shall be connected to the street storm, unless <br />otherwise approved by the City Engineer. <br />74. All utility boxes and transformers for this project shall be installed underground. All <br />capacitor banks or switches for the project may be installed above ground if properly <br />screened to the satisfaction of the Planning Director. All utilities shall be installed in <br />conduit. <br />75. The project developer shall deposit a bond with the City of Pleasanton to ensure <br />completion of any required public improvements. This bond shall be in a standard form <br />approved by the City Attorney and shall be in an amount satisfactory to the City <br />Engineer. <br />76. The project developer shall submit a final grading and drainage plan prepared by a <br />licensed civil engineer depicting all final grades, pad and finished floor elevations, and <br />on-site drainage control measures. This plan shall be subject to the review and approval <br />of the City Engineer, Planning Director, and Chief Building Official prior to the issuance <br />of any building permits. <br />77. The project developer shall submit a refundable cash bond for hazard and erosion control <br />prior to issuance of an Engineering or Building Department permit. The amount of this <br />bond will be determined by the City Engineer. <br />78. Any existing wells on the site shall be removed or sealed, filled and abandoned pursuant <br />to Alameda County Ordinance 73-68, prior to the start of grading operations unless Zone <br />7 retains specific wells for observation wells, or special approval is obtained from the <br />City Engineer for temporary use of an existing well for construction water. Any wells <br />designated for abandonment or any wells, encountered during construction, are to be <br />destroyed in accordance with a permit obtained from Zone 7. <br />79. The haul route for all materials to and from this development shall be approved by the <br />City Engineer prior to the issuance of an encroachment permit. <br />80. The project developer shall submit a dust control plan or procedure as part of the <br />improvement plans. <br />81. The design of the water supply and sanitary sewer systems shall be subject to the review <br />and approval of the City Engineer. <br />13 <br />
