CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-477 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION R~QUESTING THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION <br /> COMMISSION TO MODIFY PLEASANTON'S SPHERE OF INFLUENCE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Alameda County Local Agency Formation Commission <br /> (LAFCO) has asked Pleasanton if it wishes to modify its <br /> existing sphere of influence; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 20,1987, the City Council <br /> reviewed and considered the report of the Director of <br /> Planning and Community Development recommending the <br /> proposed Sphere of Influence; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The City Council of the City of Pleasanton by this <br /> resolution requests the Local Agency Formation <br /> Commission to modify the City's sphere of influence a <br /> shown on the attached Exhibit A. <br /> <br /> Section 2: Directs staff to prepare and deliver to LAFCO such <br /> other information as may be required in support of this <br /> request. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 20, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes ~~~ <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> t KENNETH R.
