applicability of the Personnel Rules of the City of Pleasanton to management and confidential employees who are not exempt from said Rules. Section 8: The salary and supplementary benefits set forth in this Resolution shall be the only compensation for the positions set forth in Exhibits A and B hereto and there shall be no right to receive benefits contained in any Memoranda of Understanding with the City's recognized employee organizations which are not included in the salaries and supplementary benefits set forth herein. It is the City Council's intention that there shall be mutual exclusivity between the compensation plans set forth in this resolution and the items contained in Memoranda of Understanding. Section 9: If any section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this Resolution or any part thereof is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Resolution or any part thereof. The City Council hereby declares that it would have passed each section, subsection subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, subdivisions, paragraphs, sentences, clauses, or phrases be declared unconstitutional. Section 10: This resolution shall become effective upon its passage and adoption and be retroactive to October 1, 1987.
