CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 87-460 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A COMPENSATION PLAN FIXING SALARIES AND BENEFITS FOR MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL PERSONNEL FOR THE CITY OF PLEASANTON NOT INCLUDING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 86-568, AND AMENDING THE BUDGET ACCORDINGLY WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the establishment and designation of certain employees as management and confidential employees; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended salary ranges and supplementary benefits for the period October 1, 1987 through September 30, 1988, for management and confidential employees; and WHEREAS, the City Council has previously, by Resolution No. 86-568, adopted a compensation plan for the above employees, which resolution must now be repealed; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The salary ranges and supplementary benefits for management employees for the period commencing October 1, 1987, and ending September 30, 1988, shall be as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. Section 2: The salary ranges and supplementary benefits for confidential employees for the period commencing October 1, 1987 and ending September 30, 1988, shall be as set forth in Exhibit B attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. Section 3: The City Manager is authorized to include as part of the total compensation, City payment of the employee share of the PERS (retirement) cost. Section 4: The City Manager is authorized to adjust salary levels including associated benefit costs within the ranges set forth in Exhibit A. Section 5: The 1987-88 Budget of the City of Pleasanton is amended accordingly. Section 6: Resolution No. 86-568 is hereby repealed.
