Section 11. Tuition Reimbursement <br /> <br /> Upon approval of the city manager, management and <br /> confidential employees shall be reimbursed tuition <br /> expenses for job related courses successfully completed <br /> from accredited colleges or universities. The maximum <br /> tuition reimbursement shall not exceed $300 per fiscal <br /> year. <br /> <br />Section 12. Automobiles and Automobile Allowances <br /> 12.1 Automobiles <br /> <br /> The chief of police shall be provided an automobile for <br /> his unrestricted use provided, however, he licenses the <br /> vehicle and pays for gasoline consumed during personal <br /> usage of the vehicle. The fire chief shall be provided <br /> a vehicle for both business and limited personal use as <br /> defined by the city manager. <br /> <br /> 12.2 Automobile Allowance <br /> <br /> The following classifications shall receive a monthly <br /> vehicle allowance of $150 as compensation for providing <br /> and using their personal vehicles for city business: <br /> <br /> Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> Assistant to the City Manager <br /> Director of Inspection Services <br /> Director of Planning and Community Development <br /> Director of Parks and Community Services <br /> Director of Finance <br /> <br /> In addition, for all miles driven on city business <br /> outside the Livermore Amador Valley, a reimbursement of <br /> $ .21 per mile shall be made. <br /> <br />PJ721D <br />LM/kh(rev.) <br />9/17/87 <br /> <br /> - 13 - <br /> <br /> <br />
