Mitigation Measures. <br />To address the possible significant impact on callippe silverspot butterfly due to loss of <br />habitat of its host plant (Viola pedunculata) or direct loss of butterfly larvae or adults, the <br />following mitigation measure is hereby adopted and will be implemented as provided for <br />in the Mitigation Monitoring and Implementation Program: <br />• Implement Oak Grove Planned Unit Development (PUD-33) Mitigation Measure <br />D3. <br />c. Findings. <br />Based on the EIR and the entire record before the City, the City finds that: <br />(i) Effects of Mitigation. <br />The Environmentally Superior Project's potential impacts related to the CSB habitat will <br />be mitigated to less than significant levels through the implementation of the mitigation <br />measure discussed above as it requires the preparation of a CSB Mitigation and <br />Monitoring Plan and the review by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) <br />and acceptance by the City prior to City action on the first Final Subdivision Map. The <br />Mitigation Monitoring and Implementation Program shall be implemented by the City of <br />Pleasanton on all grading plans, improvement plans, and other construction documents <br />for this development. <br />(ii) Remaining Impacts. <br />Any remaining impacts related to impacts to CSB and CSB habitat will be less than <br />significant. <br />4. Loss of Raptors and Their Habitat (DEIR, pp. 107, 115-116 and 359/360; <br />Condition 10 of PUD-33; MMIP D4). <br />a. Potentiallmpact. <br />The Original Project's potential impacts on raptors due to disturbance of active raptor <br />nesting and habitat sites are discussed in the DEIR at page 107 and the <br />Environmentally Superior Project's impacts are discussed at page 360. <br />b.
