PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. PC-88-122 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT PREPARED FOR THE DOWNTOWN SPECIFIC PLAN PROPOSED FOR THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND FILED UNDER CASE SP-88-1 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to adopt a Specific Plan for Downtown Pleasanton encompassing land use, circulation, parking, and design policies and improvements within a 40 block area bounded by Bernal Avenue, First Street, Stanley Boulevard, Rose Avenue and Pleasanton Avenue; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 28, 1988, the Planning Commission met and held a public hearing upon the Draft Environmental Impact Report; and, WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has accepted and responded to comments on the Draft Environmental Impact Report from public agencies having jurisdiction by law, persons having special expertise with respect to any environmental impact involved, and other persons or organizations having an interest in the proposed Specific Plan; and WHEREAS, the Final Environmental Impact Report has been prepared and contains the Draft Environmental Impact Report, comments and recommendations received on the Draft Environmental Impact Report, and the responses of the City of Pleasanton to significant environmental points raised in the review and consultation process; and WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton provided proper public notice of of completion of the Final Environmental Impact Report for the proposed Downtown Specific Plan; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton met on November 9, 1988 and held a public hearing upon the Final Environmental Impact Report; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on November 9, 1988 upon the Environmental Impact Report and upon the completeness and adequacy of the entire Environmental Impact Report in disclosing relevant environmental issues involved in the event the proposed ordinance were to be adopted.
