We have prepared the following scope of work based on our <br />discussion at that time and the memos from Bill Wilkins and Dave Van Houten <br />dated June 11 and 30, 1987. Based on our understanding of the desired work, <br />we have divided this proposal into two projects: <br /> <br /> 1. Check valve installation design and specifications. <br /> <br /> 2. Booster pump investigation, design and specification. <br /> <br />Each of these are described in more detail belcw, followed by a section <br />presenting our estimated fees for these services. <br /> <br />SCOPE OF <br /> <br />Project 1. Check valve installation design and specifications. <br /> <br />This project would involve the work necessary to determine specific <br />locations and installation details for check valves to be installed between <br />the Lower Zone and the Foothill Zone. Specific items of work would be as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> o Identify specific locations for check valves based on our <br /> evaluation of the system requirements and discussion with City <br /> staff. <br /> <br /> o Select and specify type of check valve, considering system <br /> requirements, availability of spare parts, and cost. <br /> <br /> o Prepare a typical installation detail and specification. <br /> <br />WDP.6.11 <br /> <br /> <br />
