Bob Lovell <br /> Lead Public Works Inspector <br /> <br /> Subject: Scope of Services and Fee Agreement <br /> Soil Engineering Services During <br /> Offsite Storm Drainage Improvement; <br /> Senior Housing Project Number 86-11 <br /> Pleasanton, California <br /> <br /> Gentlemen: <br /> <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> <br /> We are pleased to present this scope of services and fee agree- <br /> ment for soil engineering services during channel grading <br /> operations, storm drain placement and backfill and access road <br /> construction of the proposed project. The site is located south <br /> of Bernal Avenue and west of the Southern Pacific Transportation <br /> Company in Pleasanton, California. The City of Pleasanton has <br /> prepared specifications for this project dated June, 1986. <br /> <br /> We previously performed a Soil Investigation of the site for Eden <br /> Housing, Inc., and presented the results in a report dated <br /> March 27, 1985. <br /> <br /> Our scope of services and fee agreement are based on a review of <br /> these reports and discussions with you. <br /> <br /> The project plans prepared by Bissell & Karn, Inc., dated <br /> February, 1986, along with the project specification will provide <br /> guidelines for the work. <br /> <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br /> We recommend that our scope of services for this project consist <br /> of the following items: <br /> <br />SOIL ENGINEERS · ENGINEERING GEOLOGISI'S · 4456 BLACK A~/E~,,IUE · PLEASANTON, CA 94566 · (415) 484-0220 <br /> <br /> <br />
