8. MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW/ACTION <br /> <br />a. Future Planning Calendar <br /> <br />In response to an inquiry by Chairperson Fox regarding the addition of dates on the <br />Future Planning Calendar, Ms. Decker noted that because the calendar was so fluid, staff <br />was reluctant to include dates; however, staff wanted to make the Commission aware of <br />upcoming items and so provided a list of the future projects. <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Connor suggested listing the items in estimated order of appearance. <br /> <br />Ms. Decker noted that dates were often printed in the newspaper when it was not firmly <br />scheduled. <br /> <br />Commissioner Blank noted that this was the third meeting where the calendar was lighter <br />than usual and was concerned that it added to the public perception that the Planning <br />Commission was not working efficiently. <br /> <br />Ms. Decker noted that in the past, the Commission had requested that the heavy agendas <br />be lightened to prevent late-night meetings resulting in scheduled agenda items being <br />continued. She noted that past meetings had frequently gone past midnight. <br /> <br />Oak Grove <br /> <br />Commissioner Blank advised that he would recuse himself from the Oak Grove hearing, <br />and requested that the other items be scheduled before it. <br /> <br />b.Actions of the City Council <br /> <br /> <br />No discussion was held or action taken. <br /> <br />Actions of the Zoning Administrator <br />c. <br /> <br />No discussion was held or action taken. <br /> <br />9.
