Chairperson Fox noted that one of the reasons she did not support the Home Depot <br />application was the passerby-traffic percentage and would like the following language <br />added after paragraph 7 on page 6: “In response to an inquiry by Acting Chairperson Fox <br />regarding the percentage of traffic that would be newly attracted to the facility versus <br />passersby, the applicant indicated that the rate was 48 percent.” <br /> <br />Chairperson Fox noted that the sixth sentence of the fourth full paragraph on page 17 <br />should be modified to read as follows, “She noted that the 100-foot buffer between the <br />Beth Emek Synagogue and the Home Depot complex had not been included as discussed <br />in the first two workshops.” <br /> <br />Commissioner Pearce moved to approve the minutes of December 13, 2006. <br />Commissioner Olson seconded the motion. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Commissioners Blank, Fox, O’Connor, Olson, and Pearce. <br />NOES: None. <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br />RECUSED: None. <br />ABSENT: None. <br /> <br />The motion passed. <br /> <br /> <br />The minutes were approved as amended. <br /> <br />c. December 27, 2006 <br /> <br />Commissioner Blank believed that the motion on page 7 included a tabletop traffic <br />mitigation that was smooth. He did not see it in the motion or the amendments. The <br />Commissioners concurred with his recollection. <br /> <br />Ms. Harryman recalled that it had been discussed and that it was part of the motion.
