MINUTES CITY OF PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL MEETING April 3, 2007 CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Hosterman called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Sullivan introduced Cub Scout Pack 944 who presented the Colors and led the Pledge of Allegiance. Introductory Comments Councilmember Sullivan noted there will be scoping session to discuss elements of the Environmental Impact Report for the Staples Ranch Property at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 in the City Council Chambers. He also noted the upcoming City of Pleasanton's Electronic Waste Weekend which will be Friday, April 20d' through Sunday, April 22nd. This event will be held at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. Roll Call Present: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman Absent: None AGENDA AMENDMENTS Councilmember Sullivan requested that Item No. 12, the public hearing on the medical marijuana issue, be continued so additional information could be gathered before the discussion is held. CONSENT CALENDAR Councilmember McGovern referenced Item No. 4, Funding for the Tri-Valley Business Council, and asked if they provide an annual statement regarding what they have accomplished. The City Manager noted the City had received that and he would make a copy for the City Council. Councilmember McGovern reference Item No. 6, the Downtown Mural Project, and thanked Mr. Finch for allowing the project to go forward on his building and noted the renderings are quite lovely. Mayor Hosterman requested that Item No. 4, the funding for the Tri-Valley Business Council be pulled and continued to the next meeting. Mayor Hosterman noted there is a request from the public to pull Item No. 8, second reading of Ordinance No. 1948, from the Consent Calendar and discuss separately. Administrative Services 1.
