MINUTES <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />April 3, 2007 <br />CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Hosterman called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Councilmember <br />Sullivan introduced Cub Scout Pack 944 who presented the Colors and led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />Introductory Comments <br />Councilmember Sullivan noted there will be scoping session to discuss elements of the <br />Environmental Impact Report for the Staples Ranch Property at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, <br />2007 in the City Council Chambers. He also noted the upcoming City of Pleasanton's Electronic <br />Waste Weekend which will be Friday, April 20d' through Sunday, April 22nd. This event will be <br />held at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. <br />Roll Call <br />Present: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br />Absent: None <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br />Councilmember Sullivan requested that Item No. 12, the public hearing on the medical <br />marijuana issue, be continued so additional information could be gathered before the discussion <br />is held. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Councilmember McGovern referenced Item No. 4, Funding for the Tri-Valley Business Council, <br />and asked if they provide an annual statement regarding what they have accomplished. The <br />City Manager noted the City had received that and he would make a copy for the City Council. <br />Councilmember McGovern reference Item No. 6, the Downtown Mural Project, and thanked Mr. <br />Finch for allowing the project to go forward on his building and noted the renderings are quite <br />lovely. <br />Mayor Hosterman requested that Item No. 4, the funding for the Tri-Valley Business Council be <br />pulled and continued to the next meeting. <br />Mayor Hosterman noted there is a request from the public to pull Item No. 8, second reading of <br />Ordinance No. 1948, from the Consent Calendar and discuss separately. <br />Administrative Services <br />1. Approved regular meeting minutes of March 6, 2007 <br />Citv Manager <br />2. Approved the appointment of Mayor Hosterman as the representative to the TV30 Board <br />of Directors <br />
