The meeting is scheduled for March 29~h
from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Amador Valley High School Library.
She also noted the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council are
hosting the annual Poetry Prose and Arts Festival on Saturday, March 31 from 8:30
a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Car American Conference Center.
The Annual Good Guys Rod Show and Swap Meet will be on March 24 and 25 at the
Fairgrounds.
Roll Call
Present: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman
Absent: None
AGENDA AMENDMENTS: None
CONSENT CALENDAR
Councilmember Thorne noted, with regard to Item No. 2, that he took a tour of one of
the local mobilehome parks and indicated concern with safety issues as they relate to
sidewalks. He noted he will put his concerns in writing.
Councilmember McGovern noted a change to the Minutes, page 8, paragraph 6 to
include her comments that what was important to her was that she had expressed a
concern about the workload of the Council's priorities and that she would work with
those priorities for a year to determine if they needed to be honed.
With regard to Item No. 6, the cash Reserve Fund, Councilmember McGovern
questioned if that money will be earmarked in the CIP. City Manager Fialho noted it will
be earmarked in a special fund that does not designate the funds for any specific
project, except that it defines that the money will be used for something in the
downtown, a potential acquisition of the downtown corridor or another amenity related to
the downtown specific plan or an improvement in the Hacienda Business Park.
