<br />3. ACTION ITEMS CONCERNING GENERAL PLAN UPDATE: LAND USE <br /> <br />Mayor Hosterman reflected the staff understanding as Option Bl as a transit- <br />oriented development model for purposes of the traffic model and Options A2 or A3 for <br />the dispersed land use model. <br /> <br />It was moved by Matt Sullivan, seconded by Jerry Thorne, to use Option B1 <br />for the transit-oriented mixed use option and Option A3 for the dispersed <br />residential land use option for the two alternatives for the General Plan <br />environmental impact report. <br /> <br />Mr. Brozosky asked staff to restate the preferred option. <br /> <br />Mr. Fialho reiterated the consensus as follows: reserve - 200 units; West Dublin <br />BART station - 350 units; Staples Ranch - 240 units; east side specific plan - 250 <br />units; Valley Trails - 0 units; Kottinger Place/Pleasanton Gardens - 100 units; <br />downtown - 100 units; remainder units allocated to Hacienda Business Park. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brozosky, Sullivan, Thorne and Mayor Hosterman <br />NOES: Council member McGovern <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Ms. McGovern indicated she wanted a reserve of 500 because that would be a <br />plan that would honestly show a better management of units and less impact to the <br />community. <br /> <br />4.
