She asked <br />whether the City had already received the funding for this year? <br /> <br />Mr. Bocian responded this is the funding for the upcoming year. <br /> <br />Ms. Hosterman stated the US conference of Mayors has been extremely active in <br />making this issue a high priority. A letter has been sent in support, <br /> <br />Ms. McGovern questioned the statement that the Bernal Property will provide <br />opportunities for new housing developments should future conditions and community needs <br />warrant was true. <br /> <br />Mr. Fialho responded staff needed to clarify the statement. <br /> <br />Mr. Thorne stated that the staff report indicated the City is carrying forward the previous <br />years priorities, which were approved, as well as excerpts from the General Plan Housing <br />Element. The report also indicates the City received certification in 2003 but does not indicate <br />the City was ever decertified.
