Consultant shall review the above, incorporating them <br />into the proper City and/or Assessment District forms and submit <br />to City for signature. <br /> <br /> C. Fire Department Liaison. Consultant will act as <br />liaison between 'the assigned Fire Department liaison personnel <br />and the contractor, working "hand in glove" with the Department <br />to see that the work is coordinated and progressing properly in <br />reference to its needs and requirements. Change order proposals <br />will be reviewed and approved by the Fire Department liaison <br />prior to putting 'them into the system. <br /> <br /> D. Coordination. Consultant will handle coordination <br />between the trades and consulting professionals such as Soils <br />Engineers, Testing and Inspection Services, etc. In general, it <br />is anticipated that the contractor will call for those services <br />through Consultant. <br /> <br /> E. Extra Work. Consultant shall perform such extra work <br />as requested and approved by the Director of Public Works and <br />Utilities related to the Pleasanton Fire Training Center project <br />and outside the scope of work included in Section 1A - 1D. <br /> <br /> 2. Staff. Project Manager for Consultant shall be Hugh <br />Anton. Consultant shall not replace Hugh Anton without prior <br />approval of the City. <br /> <br /> 3. Term. The term of this Agreement shall extend for the <br />duration of the Fire Training Center project and shall terminate <br />upon completion and acceptance of the work comprising the <br />project. <br /> <br /> 4. Compensation. For services to be rendered, City shall <br />pay Consultant in accordance with the following.: <br /> <br /> A. For work as outlined in Consultant's Services, 1A - <br />1D above, the f~e shall be on a time-and-materials basis, not to <br />exceed $27,500 at the hourly rates described as follows: <br /> <br /> Appearance at Public Meetings $125.00 <br /> (minimum charge) <br /> <br /> Principal Architect in <br /> Consultation $ 80.00 <br /> <br /> Principal Architect $ 70.00 <br /> Architect $ 55.00 <br /> Assistant Architect $ 45.00 <br /> Clerical $ 23.00 <br /> <br /> B. In addition to the compensation included above, <br />mileage charges will be billed at $0.20 per mile. <br /> <br /> - 2 - <br /> <br /> <br />
