<br />Wendy Sumner a representative for the Waste Management Authority indicated that the <br />next update for Title 24 changes would be in 2008. <br /> <br />Mr. Brozosky asked Ms. Sumner if the bar was far higher, as the State continued to <br />improve additional requirements. <br /> <br />Ms. Sumner said yes. The bar was being set higher but the Authority was pushing for <br />regional and statewide guidelines. <br /> <br />Mr. Brozosky asked if the State would increase Title 24 requirements. <br /> <br />Ms. Sumner said Title 24 deals with energy and not green building measures as a <br />whole. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson stated green building products become more available and technology gets <br />better known, the City is finding architects and design professionals that are well versed in the <br />green building requirements. <br /> <br />Mr. Brozosky questioned certain reflected in the staff report. He wondered if homes that <br />were less the 2000 square feet when built would be affected by the green building requirements. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson said only in rare situations. <br /> <br />Mr. Brozosky questioned if a minimal square feet requirement should be added to the <br />requirements. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson did not think that was necessary. <br /> <br />Mr. Brozosky asked if there has been any local studies conducted that examined the <br />costs related to green building requirements. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson did not think so. <br /> <br />Mr. Brozosky asked about the appeal timeline. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson responded that the appeal process is the same as other appeal processes in <br />the City. <br /> <br />Mr. Brozosky questioned the timing of the review process and how long the review <br />process takes. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson responded every process has its own timeline.
