Mayor Hosterman noted Mr. Kummer made a good point and asked staff to address this
matter now or in the future.
Mr. Wilson said this issue has not been addressed in the context of the bridge
construction and it is something that staff would need to consider as this project develops.
Mayor Hosterman wanted Mr. Kummer's comments considered as a part of this project.
It was moved by Mr. Sullivan, seconded by Mr. Thorne, to select the historical
concrete option as the preferred design for the new second bridge, Option B for the
railing for the historic bridge, and direct staff to move forward with final design for the
bridge.
The roll call vote was taken as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers - Brozosky, McGovern, Thorne, Sullivan, and
Mayor Hosterman
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAINED: None
6f
Review of bids and award a contract for leaal Dublications. (SR 05:190)
Mr. Bocian presented the staff report.
Mr. Brozosky asked if there would be an additional cost to secure the same
predetermined location in the Pleasanton Weekly?
Mr. Bocian said Pleasanton Weekly has provided staff a specific cosl.
