<br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Nelson Fialho, referred to agenda item 6c and noted that staff experienced problems in <br />notifying a large section of Ruby Hill and a smaller neighborhood along Vineyard Avenue. He <br />presented several options to Council: (1) hear the item and take action or (2) hear the item and <br />continue discussion, public comments and action on the item to October 18, which would allow <br />staff two-weeks to properly notify the community. <br /> Mayor Hosterman suggested that staff present its report, allow the public that is present <br />an opportunity to speak to this item and continue Council discussion, action and public <br />comments to its October 18 meeting. <br /> Council concurred with Mayor Hosterman's direction. <br /> Mr. Brozosky requested continuing agenda item 41 to November 1, 2005. <br /> Ms. McGovern requested removing agenda item 4h from the Consent Calendar and <br />placing under Public Hearings and Other Matters as agenda item 6g. <br />4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Kevin Close, a Happy Valley resident, requested changes be made to his comments on <br />page six of the minutes of September 20 to include the contradiction of Council while it was <br />concerned about protecting the southeast hills from large developments it previously approved <br />in agenda item 4b, an 8,300 square-foot home on the southeast hills of Pleasanton near the golf <br />course. <br /> Mr. Thorne requested a change to page 13, paragraph five of the September 20 minutes <br />to state, "83% of the multiple family housing is rental stock." <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brozosky, seconded by Mr. Thorne, that the following actions <br />under the Consent Calendar be taken with the removal and continuation of item 41 as <br />requested by Mr. Brozosky, the removal of agenda item 4h to Public Hearings and Other <br />Matters as agenda item 6g and corrections to the minutes of September 20, 2005 as <br />requested by Mr. Close and Mr. Thorne: <br />a. Approved the minutes of 09/20/05 as amended. <br />b. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission. (IR 05:053) <br /> No action was required or taken on this item. <br />c. Approved the monthly disbursements and Investment Report for August 2005. <br /> (SR 05:269) <br />d. Adopted Resolution 05-075. a resolution of intention of the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton declaring its intention to establish the Tri-Valley Tourism Business <br /> Improvement District (TVTBID) and fixing the time and place of a public hearing thereon <br /> and giving notice thereof.
