MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br />-- SPECIAL MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> May 24, 2005 <br /> <br /> 1. Special Meeting Call to Order <br /> <br /> The special meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Jennifer <br /> Hosterman at 9:20 p.m. <br /> <br /> The Deputy City Clerk called the roll, which is recorded .as follows: <br /> Councilmembers present were Steve Brozosky, Cindy McGovern, Matthew Sullivan and <br /> Mayor Jennifer Hosterman. Staff members present were Nelson Fialho, City Manager; <br /> Jerry Iserson, Director of Planning and Community Development, and Michael Roush, <br /> City Attorney. <br /> <br /> 2. Meeting Open to the Public <br /> There were no speakers. <br /> <br /> 3. Action Items Concerninq General Plan Update: Circulation Element Update <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Sullivan, seconded by Ms. McGovern, to continue with <br /> the constrained gateway approach with flexibility in future traffic models. <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brozoaky, McGovern, Sullivan, and Mayor <br /> Hosterman <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Sullivan, seconded by Mayor Hosterman, to review all <br /> five model runs and at the next meeting narrow them down to one or two and <br /> eliminate the remainder from discussion for the rest of the General Plan Update <br /> process. <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmember Sullivan and Mayor Hosterman <br /> NOES: Councilmembers Brozosky and McGovern <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Due to a tie vote, the motion failed. <br /> <br /> Pleasanton City Council I 05/24/05 <br /> Special Meeting Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
