Mr. Bmzosky pointed out that the Cultural Arts community preferred the northeast corner as the preferred location for the Cultural Arts Center. If this was not possible, they wanted the Cultural Arts Center to be located on Bernal next to the freeway. The roll call vote was taken was follows: AYES: Councilmembers -McGovern, Sullivan, and Mayor Hoeterman NOES: Councilmember Brozosky ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Mayor Hosterman said she would entertain a motion to combine Site Plan Alternatives A and D for the Bernal Phase II Specific Plan area. Mr. Sullivan pointed out that Alternative A included the ACE Train Station -- and a Youth Club. Altemative D does not include the ACE Train Station, but does include a youth club/teen center. Ms. McGovern preferred Alternative D as the preferred option, as the youth club/teen center would be integrated with the sports fields and in close proximity to the Cultural Arts Center. She suggested moving the youth club/teen center to the 800-foot setback location for lighted baseball fields. Mr. Brozosky believed Council was considering combining the youth club and teen center. He asked staff for clarification. Mr. Fialho believed Council had discussed combining the youth club and teen center. It was moved by Mr. Brozosky, seconded by Ms. McGovern, to combine the Youth Club/Teen Center.
