The roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brozosky, McGovern and Sullivan <br />-- NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Mayor Hosterman <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> 7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> Ms. McGovern requested an update on the Assisted Living Facility project to include <br /> whether funding has been established. <br /> <br /> 8. COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br /> Mr. Sullivan provided an update on the United Nations Mayors for Peace that Mayor <br /> Hosterman is currently attending. He mentioned that the United Nations embraced the Mayors <br /> for Peace for nuclear nonproliferation. <br /> <br /> Ms. McGovern provided an update on the recent Livermore Amador Valley Transit <br /> Authority meeting. The Authority received a presentation on Regional Transit Oriented Policies. <br /> The Authority also discussed changing a bus route to serve the Dublin Koll Center Park and <br /> Ride section, which was a required mitigation for the East Dublin Specific Plan. There was <br /> discussion about the possibility of loosing 150 parking spaces on the Dublin side of the Bart <br /> station. He noted that the City of Dublin is constructing a 500-parking space structure as part of <br /> the mitigation requirements for the construction of a new 250-condominium complex. Staff has <br /> been asked to clarify this matter to clear up any of the confusion. She also provided an update <br /> on the recent School District Liaison Committee meeting. The Committee is looking to solve <br /> some of the problems associated with facility use. <br /> <br /> 9. CLOSED SESSION <br /> The Closed Session was held prior to the Council meeting. <br /> <br /> 10. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting was adjourned <br /> at 9:20 p.m. to meet again in a regular meeting to be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at 7:00 <br /> p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue. <br /> <br /> Respectfully submi/tt~d, <br /> <br /> Dawn G.
