The roll call vote was taken as follows: AYES: Councilmembers - Brozosky, McGovern and Sullivan -- NOES: None ABSENT: Mayor Hosterman ABSTAIN: None 7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL Ms. McGovern requested an update on the Assisted Living Facility project to include whether funding has been established. 8. COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS Mr. Sullivan provided an update on the United Nations Mayors for Peace that Mayor Hosterman is currently attending. He mentioned that the United Nations embraced the Mayors for Peace for nuclear nonproliferation. Ms. McGovern provided an update on the recent Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority meeting. The Authority received a presentation on Regional Transit Oriented Policies. The Authority also discussed changing a bus route to serve the Dublin Koll Center Park and Ride section, which was a required mitigation for the East Dublin Specific Plan. There was discussion about the possibility of loosing 150 parking spaces on the Dublin side of the Bart station. He noted that the City of Dublin is constructing a 500-parking space structure as part of the mitigation requirements for the construction of a new 250-condominium complex. Staff has been asked to clarify this matter to clear up any of the confusion. She also provided an update on the recent School District Liaison Committee meeting. The Committee is looking to solve some of the problems associated with facility use. 9. CLOSED SESSION The Closed Session was held prior to the Council meeting. 10. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting was adjourned at 9:20 p.m. to meet again in a regular meeting to be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue.
