It was moved by Mr. Sullivan, seconded by Ma. McGovern, to authorize the <br />Kottinger Place Task Force to continue its work exploring developroent <br />opportunities for Kottinger Place including the solicitation of proposals froro <br />developers and/or consultants to provide more detailed development and funding <br />alternatives. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was taken as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brozoaky, McGovern and Sullivan <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Hostarman <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Downtown Pleasanton Arch Sign Renovation. (IR 05:003) <br /> <br /> Rob Wilson, Director of Public Works, presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. McGovern stated that the Downtown Main Street Pleasanton Amh sign <br />deserves to be taken care of because it has been a sign for the entire community for <br />many years. <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Brozosky invited public comments. <br /> <br /> Michael O'Callaghan, representing the Pieasanton Downtown Association, said <br />the PDA supports the project. On behalf of the PDA, he extended an offer for additional <br />assistance if it is needed. <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Brozosky closed the public comments. <br /> <br /> It was moved Mr. Sullivan, seconded by Ma. McGovern, to authorize staff to <br />proceed with the project. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was taken as follows: <br />AYES: Councilroerobers - Brozosky, McGovem and Sullivan <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Nosterroan <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> Ms. McGovem asked staff for an update regarding the encroachment of a <br />riparian easement in the Bridle Creek development as mentioned by Mr. Frost at <br />Council's January 4, 2005 meeting. <br /> <br /> Mr. Fialho said staff has contacted Mr. Frost. Staff is evaluating the conditions <br />placed on the development versus what actually occurred. Staff will present an update <br />to Council at a subsequent meeting. <br /> <br /> Ms. McGovern asked staff to provide Council a copy of Resolution 03-008, a <br /> resolution regarding the bypass road in the Happy Valley Specific Plan. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 18 01/18/05 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
