It was moved by Mr. Sullivan, seconded by Ma. McGovern, to authorize the Kottinger Place Task Force to continue its work exploring developroent opportunities for Kottinger Place including the solicitation of proposals froro developers and/or consultants to provide more detailed development and funding alternatives. The roll call vote was taken as follows: AYES: Councilmembers - Brozoaky, McGovern and Sullivan NOES: None ABSENT: Mayor Hostarman ABSTAIN: None Downtown Pleasanton Arch Sign Renovation. (IR 05:003) Rob Wilson, Director of Public Works, presented the staff report. Ms. McGovern stated that the Downtown Main Street Pleasanton Amh sign deserves to be taken care of because it has been a sign for the entire community for many years. Vice Mayor Brozosky invited public comments. Michael O'Callaghan, representing the Pieasanton Downtown Association, said the PDA supports the project. On behalf of the PDA, he extended an offer for additional assistance if it is needed. Vice Mayor Brozosky closed the public comments. It was moved Mr. Sullivan, seconded by Ma. McGovern, to authorize staff to proceed with the project. MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL Ms. McGovem asked staff for an update regarding the encroachment of a riparian easement in the Bridle Creek development as mentioned by Mr. Frost at Council's January 4, 2005 meeting. Mr. Fialho said staff has contacted Mr. Frost. Staff is evaluating the conditions placed on the development versus what actually occurred. Staff will present an update to Council at a subsequent meeting.
