Mr. Brozosky suggested nam!ng the initiative the 2004 Bemal Initiative. Ms. Ayala suggested naming the initiative the Bernal Right to Vote Initiative. Mayor Pico suggested naming the initiative the Bemal Property Right to Vote Initiative. Council concurred with Mayt~r Pico's suggestion to name the initiative the Bernal Property Right to Vote Initiative. 7. MATTERS TO BE INITIATED BY COUNCIL Ms. Ayala asked staff to worl~ with Union Pacific Railroad regarding abating weeds on its properties. She also asl4ed staff to provide a report to Council regarding the No Parking signs on Sycamore Roadl Ms. Hosterman provided an Update on the Livermore Airport Master Plan Advisory Committee. The first meeting was held at the DoubleTree Club Hotel in Livermore. The Committee is comprised of 29 individuals who are representative of the cities of Dublin Pleasanton and LiveXmore. She raised questions about the makeup of the Committee. At its initial meeting, the Committee identified a number of issues that it is going to work through. The City 0f Livermore has made it clear that it would like for this Committee to work for the next ~everal months and conclude in December 2004. The Committee will be making an a4visory recommendation to the City of Livermore regarding the expansion proposal. The next meeting of the Committee is scheduled for August 26, 2004. 8. CLOSED SESSION The Closed Session was heldlbefore the Council meeting. 9. ADJOURNMENT There being no further busineSs, the meeting adjourned at 10:36 p.m. to meet again in a Regular Session on Tuesday, September 7 2004 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 200 Old Bernal'Avenue.
