ROLLCALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Dawn Abrahamso¢ called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Kay Ayala, Steve Brozosky, Matt Campbell, Jennifer <br />Hosterman, and Mayor Tom Pico. Staff members present were: Deborah McKeehan, <br />City Manager; Michael Roush, City Attorney; Steven Bocian, Deputy City Manager; <br />George Thomas, Chief Building Official; Tim Neal, Police Chief; and Eric Carlson, Fire <br />Marshal. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Ms. McKeehan noted that item 4d, approval of Measure D Recycling Funds and <br />California Department of ConservatiOn's Division of Recycling Funds to support <br />recycling initiatives and Programs at school sites, was continued by staff to September 7, <br />2004. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pico mentioned that he would open and close the public hearing for item <br />6b, PAP-66 (PCUP-112), Mary Kay Berg, Achievement Learning Center. It was his <br />understanding that Ms. Berg has withdrawn her appeal. <br /> <br />4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> Councilmember Campbell thanked City staff and East Bay Regional Park staff for <br />completing the portion of the Iron HOrse Trail from Santa Rita to Mohr Avenue. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brozosky noted that City staff and the East Bay Regional Park <br />staff were successful in its efforts to bring forward a lease agreement between the two <br />parties for a BMX facility on the Shadow Cliffs property. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Hosterman, seconded by Mr. Brozosky, that the <br />following actions under the Consent Calendar be taken: <br /> <br />a. Approved the Minutes of the ~City Council meeting of 06/01/04. <br /> <br />bo <br /> <br />Approved the Monthly DisbUrsements, Investment Report, and COPS AB 3229 <br />Expenditure Reports for Juna 2004.
