It was moved by Ms. Ayala~ seconded by Mr. Brozosky, to adopt Resolution <br />04-059, a resolution approving modified recommendations for use of Citizen's <br />Option For Public Safety Programl (Cops) Appropriation. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was taken as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Brozosky, Campbell, Hosterman, and Mayor <br /> <br /> Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />6f <br /> Weed Abatement Assessments for ~004. (SR 04:160) <br /> <br /> Eric Carlson, Fire Marshal, presented the staff report. He noted that the City <br />would not abate the parcels for 78121and 7822 Foothill Road. The property owners have <br />been called and informed that they vcould not be included on this year's lien list. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pico opened the public hearing. There being no speakers, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brozosky, seconded by Mr. Campbell, to adopt <br />Resolution 04-060, a resolution deClaring that the costs for weed abatement, <br />including administrative costs, areia special assessment and lien imposed on the <br />properties requiring abatement, and approving the cost accounting report for the <br />2004 Weed Abatement Program. i <br /> <br />The roll call vote was taken as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Brozosky, Campbell, Hosterman, and Mayor <br /> <br /> Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Council-sponsored initiative concerning voter approval of the land use plan for <br />Phase H (City owned land) of the Bernal Property Specific Plan. (SR 04:198) <br /> <br /> Mayor Pico said that this issue is a personal concern.
