Downtown Deeion Guidelines <br />Consideration of new Desiqn Guidelines for the commercial an residential portions of <br />downtown Pleasantonl the area qenerally bounded by the Arroyo del Valle and the <br />Union Pacific Railroad Corridor to the north~ Third Street to the east1 Bernal Avenue <br />to the south, and Pleesanton and Rose Avenues to the west. (SR 04:188) <br /> <br />Jerry Iserson presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brozosky clarified that this does not address the issue of secondary units in the <br />downtown area. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson said that was correct. <br /> <br />Ms. Ayala declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Peter MacDonald, 400 Main Street, Suite 210, representing the Pleasanton <br />Downtown Association, indicated the Board of Directors, the Design Committee and <br />Economic Vitality Committee, were involved in drafting the guidelines and supported the <br />design guidelines. They were very pleased with the City staff process.
