It was moved by Mr. Brozosky, seconded by Ms. Hosterman, to adopt Resolution 04-003, amending the 2003-2004 Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget as follows: 1. Amend the Operating Budget, as outlined in Appendix A to: (a) Reflect the 2002-2003 revenue and transfer projection carryovers previously approved by Council totaling $549,722; Co) Reflect the 2002-03 expenditure carryovers previously approved by Council totaling $9,941,112; (c) Update projected beginning 2003-04 fund balances to actual 2002-03 ending fund balances; and Amend the CIP Budget, as outlined in Appendix B to: (a) Reflect the 2002-03 revenue carryovers and the 2002-03 expenditure carryovers previously approved by Council; (b) Update projected beginning 2003-04 fund balances to actual 2002-03 ending fund balances; and (c) Make minor amendments as recommended by staff. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Couneilmembers - Ayala, Brozosky, Campbell, and Hosterman NOES: None ABSENT: Mayor Pieo ABSTAIN: None 7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL Ms. Hosterman requested the East Bay Habitat for Humanity and the Alameda County Waste Management Authority provide a short presentation on how they have created a paxtnership for affordable housing. This could also provide an opportunity for Council to consider it as it goes through the General Plan process. Mr. Brozosky believed this opportunity would fit into Council's General Plan process. Ms. Ayala asked Ms. McKeehan to incorporate this request into a General Plan Workshop when Council discusses affordable housing, or agendize it for a future meeting. Ms. Hosterman requested support from Council to agendize official support of the League of California Cities' ballot initiative. Mr. Brozosky suggested postponing this until Council gets through the upcoming workshops for the General Plan and traffic related issues. Pleasanton City Council 29 01/20/04 Minutes
