The roll call vote was taken as follows: <br />AYES: Councflmembers - Ayala, Brozosky, Campbell, and Hosterman <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Pien <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush was excused from the remainder of the meeting. <br /> <br />6_~e <br />First Quarter 2003-2004 Financial Report (SR 04:019) <br /> <br /> Sue Rossi presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brozosky wondered if there was a new Capital Improvement Program <br />category for the $500,000, which is intended for the golf course bypass road. <br /> <br /> Ms. Rossi noted that there is a new category for the bypass road. She reported <br />that the first $500,000 was money from the New Cities development, which is reflected <br />in the first quarter. The second $500,000 would be reflected in the future as the action <br />was taken after the first quarter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brozosky pointed out that $60,000 is reflected as a line item on Appendix B, <br />Capital Improvement Program Parks, B-5, as improvements to the baseball field at Hart <br />Middle School. He asked staff for an explanation. <br /> <br /> Ms. McKeehan mentioned that this was a renovation project, which she believed <br />was completed. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brozosky asked if this project had been completed but not paid for? <br /> <br /> Ms. Rossi pointed out that any line item reflected in italics indicated that Council <br />had already taken action and approved it. The items that are not in italics are items that <br />staffis bringing to Council as recommendations. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brozosky asked if this project had been completed? <br /> <br /> Ms. McKeehan noted that she would follow up on the matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brozosky pointed out that a number of people are involved in baseball in the <br />community and they are interested in obtaining more baseball diamonds. He wondered if <br />this renovation could potentially be part of that? <br /> <br /> Ms. McKeehan stated that the project was not to add additional fields.
