By consensus of the entire Council, staff was directed to agendize the matter. <br /> <br /> As a follow up to discussions related to sports fields in the community, Mr. <br />Brozosky suggested that Council focus on what amenities the City currently has and <br />where it wants to be in the future, as it related to build out. <br /> <br /> Ms. Hosterman concurred with Mr. Brozosky's suggestion. She reminded <br />Council of the presence of members of Pleasanton Rage who had addressed Council at a <br />prior meeting regarding the turf at Pleasanton Upper Fields. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brozosky suggested that Council provide direction to the Parks and <br />Recreation Commission to consider the need for additional sports fields. He asked if a <br />Master Plan was being considered to address the need for sports fields in the community?. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pico pointed out that the City is involved in reviewing its General Plan. <br />He believed that it would be appropriate to direct the Parks and Recreation Commission <br />to consider the need for additional sports fields as part of the General Plan process. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brozosky supported Mayor Pico's suggestion. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala was hopeful that the Parks and Recreation Commission would consider <br />the need for additional sports fields as part of the General Plan process. She also <br />supported Mayor Pico's suggestion. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brozosky asked when the next General Plan workshop would be held, and if <br />it would focus on traffic related issues? <br /> <br /> Ms. McKeehan reported that the next Joint Council/Planning Commission <br />Workshop would be held on February 24 to discuss traffic related issues. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pico indicated his desire to not place another priority item on staff. <br /> Ms. Ayala asked when the Council's Priority Workshop would be held? <br /> Ms. McKeehan reported that the workshop would be held on March 30. <br />8.
