CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Campbell, seconded by Ms. Ayala, that the following <br />actions under the Consent Calendar be taken, with the removal of item 4d to item <br />6d. <br /> <br />a. Approve the Minutes of the City Council meeting of 12/02/03. <br /> <br />Approve actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission. <br />(IR 04:001) No action was taken or required on this item. <br /> <br />Approve monthly disbursements, investment report, and COPS AB 3229 <br />expenditure reports for November 2003. (SR 04:010) <br /> <br />Design concept for the interior of the Callippe Preserve Golf Course Clubhouse <br />and Fireside Room to integrate memorial artwork relating to the late Randy Luna <br />and to reflect the historic nature of the site. (SR 04:003) <br /> <br />This item was removed from the Consent Calendar to Item 6d. <br /> <br />Review of bids and award of contract to Vanguard Construction for Annual <br />Sidewalk and Access Ramp Installations, CIP No. 035005. (SR 04:006) <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance 1900, approving the application of Ross and Elizabeth <br />Westbrook for a major modification to an approved PUD Development Plan, as <br />filed under Case PUD-82-16-15M. <br /> <br />Accept Public Improvements for Resurfacing of Various City Streets, Project No. <br />025003RF. (SR 04:009) <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution 04-001, settling pending Workers' Compensation Claims. <br />(SR 04:004) <br /> <br />Ms. Ayala mentioned that Council would hold a workshop to address the abuse <br />and problems related to workers compensation. She reported that Governor <br />Schwarzenegger addressed workers' compensation and believed it to be one of <br />the major financial issues that is facing California. The Governor asked for help <br />at all levels of govemment. She agreed with Governor Schwarzenegger and <br />would be shown as voting "no" on this item. <br /> <br />Mr. Brozosky concurred with Ms. Ayala's comments.
