It was moved by Ms. Aynln, seconded by Ms. Hosterman, to continue the <br />credit issue to allow for discussion with the developer regarding changed <br />circumstances in the City. <br /> <br /> Ms. Hosterman made it clear that this project had been going on for a long <br />Her biggest issue had to do with the way in which the Inclusionary Zoning Ordinance <br />was written. She would like an opportunity to revisit the Ordinance and have discussion <br />on it in order to obtain a better understanding of how the Ordinance applies. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pico indicated that her request could be addressed under Matters Initiated <br />by Council. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brozosky concurred with Ms. Hosterman's comments. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was taken as follows: <br />AYES: Councflmembers - Ayala, Brozosky, Hosterman, and Mayor Pice <br />NOES: Couneilmember Campbell <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> There was a break at 9:25 p.m. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pico convened the meeting at 9:31 p.m. <br /> <br />Item 6b <br />Recommendation of the Hon~in~ Commission to Establish a Task Force for the <br />Redevelopment of Kottinger Place. (SR 03:310) <br /> <br /> Mr. Bocian presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala referred to the makeup of the task force and for the rational in allowing <br />the Housing Commission to choose the five members at-large rather than Council. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bocian mentioned there was no discussion on who would select the five <br />members at-large. There was a discussion that indicated the Housing Commission would <br />coordinate the study and it would appoint the members at-large. He believed it would not <br />be an issue for the Commission if Councit chose to appoint the five members at-large. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala believed that outside ideas might be healthy for the task force. <br /> <br /> To ensure a buy-in by the neighborhood, Mr. Brozosky wanted to make sure that <br />residents living near Kottinger Place are involved on the task force. <br />Mr. Bocian anticipated significant public outreach to residents in the <br />developments, which would ensure they are involved in every step of the process. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 20 11/4/03 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
